Mumbai Indians (MI) are one of the most successful Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises, having won five titles (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020) under captain Rohit Sharma.
The team's success is mainly due to its strong core players. Rohit Sharma, the captain, led MI to multiple championships and scored over 7000 runs. Jasprit Bumrah is the team's leading bowler, known for his deadly yorkers and excellent performance in death overs. Kieron Pollard played a crucial role as a finisher and Lasith Malinga took more than 170 wickets including a match-winning final in 2019.
